EFTF Award Winners

 
The European Frequency and Time Award is awarded in recognition of outstanding contributions in all fields covered by the EFTF.

“For the development of precision frequency and measurement technology and its application to oscillators, clocks, precision sensing and testing fundamental physics.”

 
The EFTF Young Scientist Award is conferred in recognition of a personal contribution that demonstrated a high degree of initiative and creativity and led to already established or easily foreseeable outstanding advances in the field of time and frequency metrology. The award honors a person under the age of 40 on first of January the year of the EFTF conference.

“For his Seminal Research on Metamaterials in RF Microacoustics as well as for his Pioneering Contributions on Long-Range Remote Sensors and Lower-Noise Frequency Generators through Parametric Nonlinearities”

 
The Marcel Ecabert Award of the European Frequency and Time Forum (EFTF) is a lifetime award and honors the excellent achievements of the recipient in the field of time and frequency. It is named after the late Marcel Ecabert, founding member of the EFTF and member of its Executive Committee. 

“For his lifelong commitment to the measurement of time and frequency stability and his outstanding contributions to the timing community”
